Renowned Film actor Shahin Alam no more

Renowned film actor Shahin Alam has passed away. He breathed his last at Asgar Ali Hospital in the city at 10:05  pm on Monday. Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samity General Secretary Zayed Khan confirmed this.

He was suffering from kidney and diabetics diseases. The actor was admitted to the hospital after he fell sick with severe kidney problems and he was on life support since March 6.

Shahin Alam started his journey with ‘Mayer Kanna’ in 1986. The project was not finished though. After the release of his film ‘Mayer Kanna’ in 1991, he signed seven films together. In his long career, he has acted in more than 150 films.

His notable films include ‘Ghater Majhi’, ‘Ek PPoloke’, ‘Prem Diwana’, ‘Chandabaj’, ‘Prem Pratishodh’, ‘Tiger’, ‘Rag-Anurag’, ‘Dagi Sontan’, ‘Bagha-Baghini’, ‘ ‘Alif Laila’, ‘Anjuman’, ‘Ojana Shatru’, ‘Goriber Songsar’, ‘Deshodrohi’, ‘Amar Ma’, ‘Pagla Babul’, ‘Teji’, ‘Shoktir Lorai’, ‘Dalpati’, ‘Papi Sontan’, ‘Dhakaiya Mastan’, ‘Big Boss’, ‘Baba’, ‘Bagher Baccha’, ‘Bidrohi Salauddin’, ‘Teji Purush’ etc.
